Nursing with Purpose RN PLLC is committed to protecting your personal health information (PHI) in compliance with the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA). This notice explains how we may use and disclose your PHI, your rights, and our legal duties regarding your health information.

Our Responsibilities

We are required by law to maintain the privacy of your protected health information and to provide you with this Notice of our legal duties and privacy practices. We are required to abide by the terms of this Notice currently in effect and will notify you if there are any significant changes.

Our Duties Regarding Breach Notification

We reserve the right to modify this Notice and implement the new provisions for all protected health information we maintain. An updated version will be available on our website and upon request.

Complaints

If you believe your privacy rights have been violated, you may file a complaint with us or with the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS). We will not retaliate against you for filing a complaint.
