Ellerina is a Master 's-prepared registered nurse licensed to practice in New York State. Her clinical experience includes elder care in various settings, where she has collaborated with inpatient and outpatient teams. She has served as a medical-surgical float pool nurse and in triage, on-call, and supervisory roles throughout her nursing career. Her most recent roles include Forensic Nurse Examiner and Senior Clinical Educator.

Ellerina has managed large and small groups of licensed professionals in primary, urgent, and hospice care settings. Her project management experience extends across specialties and transcends hierarchies within the medical industry, with expertise in value analysis through the COVID-19 pandemic, working in the supply chain crisis. She has served as an educator in teaching pre-licensure nursing students, post-licensure medical professionals in various settings, and patients and families at the bedside.  She has created programs for and conducted annual competency evaluations for staff in clinical practice.

Her academic career began in education at the College of Saint Rose, where she continued through her MBA program before her clinical studies. Since then, Ellerina has maintained clinical practice and consistent leadership roles, and she continues to develop and deliver nursing education in her daily work.

Elevating nursing through purposeful presence and clinical experiences as learning moments has become her passion.
